We selected a 9 oz cotton-polyester blend specifically for its balance of warmth and breathability. The 80/20 cotton-poly ratio gives you the soft hand feel of natural fiber with just enough synthetic content to resist shrinkage and maintain color vibrancy through years of wear.
The fleece interior is brushed for comfort against skin, creating tiny air pockets that trap heat without adding weight. Our jersey-lined hood uses the same base fabric as the body, eliminating the scratchy feel you get from cheaper hoodies that skimp on lining. The drawcord is color-matched and tipped with metal aglets that won’t fray or pull through the channel. Every seam is finished with dual-needle stitching — a technique borrowed from industrial workwear that doubles thread count at critical stress points.
Sizing & Fit Guide
The Hooker Headers hoodie runs true to unisex sizing with a relaxed fit through the chest and shoulders. We designed it to layer comfortably over a long-sleeve tee without binding at the armpits or riding up at the waist.
Size Small fits chest 34-36 inches, Medium 38-40, Large 42-44, XL 46-48, 2XL 50-52, and 3XL 54-56. Sleeve length is proportioned to body size, with size Large measuring 25 inches from center back neck to cuff when laid flat. The ribbed cuffs add about an inch of stretch, so the sleeves sit naturally at your wrist bone rather than covering your hands.
Care Instructions & Longevity
Machine wash cold inside-out with like colors. We recommend a gentle cycle for the first three washes to fully set the screen-printed graphics, though our fade-resistant ink is designed to withstand standard wash cycles indefinitely.
Avoid bleach and fabric softener — bleach degrades the cotton fibers, and softener coats the fleece interior, reducing its warmth-trapping properties. Tumble dry on low heat or hang dry. High heat won’t damage the hoodie but may accelerate minor shrinkage over time.

Hoodie Fit, Care & Sizing Questions
All our hoodies are pre-shrunk during manufacturing, so you should see minimal to no shrinkage with proper care. We recommend washing in cold water and tumble drying on low heat. Some customers report extremely minor shrinkage — about half an inch in length — after the first wash, which is typical for cotton-blend fleece. Following the care instructions on the sewn-in label will keep your hoodie fitting consistently over time.
The pullover hoodie features a kangaroo pocket and slightly heavier 9 oz fleece, making it warmer and better for layering in cold weather. The zip-up version uses 8 oz fleece with side pockets and a full YKK zipper, giving you more ventilation control and easier on-off convenience. Both use the same fade-resistant screen printing and dual-needle construction. Choose the pullover if warmth is your priority, or the zip-up if you want temperature flexibility.
This is a unisex cut designed to fit all body types comfortably. The sizing runs true to standard unisex measurements with a relaxed fit through the chest and shoulders. Women often size down one size for a more fitted look, while men typically order their usual size. We currently offer this hoodie with our classic Hooker flame logo only. Custom embroidery or additional text printing is not available for individual retail orders.
